Mike's 1950 Ariel Square 4 Restoration

Here are some photos of the Ariel restoration. Bought from an estate in NJ. It was dismantled in 1960 and laid in pieces (some lost) over the decades. I’ve included a before photo matrix and the finished product. Everything but the chrome plating and skilled aluminum repair of the cylinder jugs was done by me.

I remained in touch with the son of the deceased owner through whom I purchased the bike. By coincidence I was invited to his 50th birthday celebration this summer (five years post purchase) wherein I presented a framed photo of the bike with a memory stick containing hundreds of restoration photos. He understandably got choked up seeing his father's bike returned to its original glory. Feel free to use the photos as you see fit.
