1971 BSA B50SS Gold Star. Purchased new in 1971 and remained in family. Clear title with copy of original title issued in 1971. 90% original except: short “Euro” bars, moved speedo mount to center of bars to replace original chrome right off-set cup, Boyer ignition and coil, new seat foam and cover, SRM sump cover, LED bulbs front/rear/speedo. Approx. 8500 original miles.
Tank soldered on bottom right and sealed with POR15 in 2018. Trip odometer does not work but speedo/odometer work. With proper starting process bike starts on 2-3 kicks when cold. (video available) Cosmetic issue with paint on top of tank due to tank seal spill. Bike was repainted to original scheme in mid-80s. Paint in good shape and chrome rims are excellent.
Have all original parts (bars, chrome speedo holder, skid plate, sump cover, original owner’s handbook and workshop manual). Good running bike to ride or easy restoration…
